Safer Towing with Weight Distribution Hitches

The Weight Distribution Hitch is a device that transfers some of the load from the towbar ball to the front suspension of the towing vehicle to ensure an even distribution of weight. This even distribution of weight ensures that positive steering and braking control is maintained.

Without a Weight Distribution Hitch, the added weight of a caravan, boat, horse float or heavy trailer will cause the front of the vehicle to raise, reducing the weight on the front wheels. Without necessary weight on the front wheels, the vehicle can experience a reduction in steering and braking control.

We supply & fit Hayman Reese & Milford Weight Distribution Hitches, and highly recommend them for any heavy towing. We have a range of kits available; something to suit every need. Our highest-capacity kit will support a ball weight of up to 450kg.
